SEC participates in the Anti-Corruption Day 2024

Mrs. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), along with SEC executives, participated in the Anti-Corruption Day 2024 under the theme “Transparent Corruption: ESG … Governance (G) Is There but Can't Be Seen.” The event was presided over by Mr. Vichien Phongsathorn, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Organization of Thailand (ACT). The event aimed to emphasize the importance of fostering effective, transparent, and accountable management across all business sectors, while considering the benefits of stakeholders, and encouraging Thai businesses to collectively combat corruption through ESG principles, especially Governance (G) to ensure sustainable development in Thailand and foster an aware and ready to fight corruption society. The event took place on 6 September 2024, at the Stock Exchange of Thailand Building.

The SEC prioritizes operating with integrity, transparency, and anti-corruption. All SEC Board members, executives, and employees are required to adhere to the SEC's anti-corruption policy. The SEC is committed to fostering and maintaining as an organization with good governance, high standards and ethics in line with international standards. This commitment enables the SEC to serve as a role model for stakeholders in the Thai capital market and promotes good governance, standards, ethics, and social responsibility among Thai capital market stakeholders under the SEC’s supervision.
