Thursday 24 July 2014 | No. 107 / 2014

Bangkok, July 24, 2014 ? The SEC launched a new version ?CG Thailand? website www.cgthailand.org , an information center on corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and anti-corruption as well as listed companies, supporting sustainable development of Thai capital market.

Vorapol Socatiyanurak, SEC Secretary-General, said the revamped ?CG Thailand? website serves as the information center on laws, regulations and practices in support of sustainable development to help promote international recognition of the Thai capital market. Aside from corporate governance, the re-launched website also provides information on corporate social responsibility and anti-corruption gathered from relevant authorities. Assessments in the said areas both at the country and corporate levels have been made available, including articles as well as local and international developments in such areas while ?AC Corner? has been set up as a communication channel with audit committees. Furthermore, the website has become a comprehensive source of important information relevant to listed companies such as financial conditions and operational results, reports on changes in securities holding (Form 59-2), reports on acquisition and disposal of securities (Form 246-2) and tender offer records. Currently, all of the above are ready to serve at www.cgthailand.org.

?The SEC has determined to promote sustainable development of Thai capital market through a number of measures and implementations. The CG Thailand website has been developed to provide listed firms and investors with a single point of access to relevant source of information,? Mr. Vorapol added.
