SEC instructed RICHY to amend its registration statement and extend IPO subscription period

? The SEC ordered Richy Place 2002 Plc. (RICHY) to amend information in the registration statement concerning comparison of P/E ratios of the company and the industry to be based on the same period of time and extend IPO subscription period at least for two business days. This is to allow investors more time to digest the information for their decision making.

Vorapol Socatiyanurak, SEC Secretary-General said that ?The SEC ordered RICHY to amend information in the registration statement by making comparison of the price-earnings (P/E) ratios of the company with the industry during the same period to provide investors with proper information for investment decision making. RICHY P/E ratio disclosed in the registration statement was calculated from net profits in the last four quarters while that of the industry was based on average P/E values during 24-month period.  

In addition, RICHY was instructed to extend the IPO subscription period at least for two business days from the date of information amendment to allow investors sufficient time to digest the information and review their investment decision. Investors already made subscription, if change their decision after obtaining amended information, can request for refund from the company. RICHY must also provide information to investors, if the company has to postpone the listing date on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.?
