Bangkok, December 15, 2014 ? The SEC has announced selection process for new Secretary-General. Candidates must have qualifications and shall not possess any prohibited characteristics. The SEC Board?s selection will be based on knowledge and expertise in the capital market, other related experiences that will be beneficial to the position as well as good governance and ethical behaviors.

Those interested can submit an application form along with supplementary documents from January 5-23, 2015 at the SEC Office. The SEC Board will select two candidates and proposed to the Finance Minister for consideration. The Minister will then recommend to the Cabinet a person considered appropriate to be appointed as SEC Secretary-General.
