Bangkok, October 12, 2015 ?The SEC is seeking public comments on the proposed revision to the crowdfunding rules, which have been effective since May 2015.?

The revision aims to meet the following objectives:
?1) To specify that only limited companies and non-listed public companies are eligible for the crowdfunding model;
?2) To grant oversubscription upon meeting certain requirements;?
?3) To increase the types of escrow agents permissible for crowdfunding portals; and
?4) To allow non-retail investors and crowdfunding portals to form a mutual agreement on selection of escrow agent.?
