Bangkok, 14 August 2018 ? The SEC has announced selection process for next Secretary-General. Candidates must have qualifications and shall not possess any prohibited characteristics. The SEC Board's selection will be based on knowledge and expertise in the capital market, other related experiences that will be beneficial to the position as well as good governance and ethical behaviors.

Those interested can submit an application form together with supplementary documents during September 3 ? 21, 2018 at the SEC office. The SEC Board will propose to the Finance Minister for consideration. The Minister will then recommend to the Cabinet a person considered appropriate to be appointed as SEC Secretary-General.
