Bangkok, 30 April 2020 – SEC has launched the latest version of SEC Bond Check mobile application today to provide investors and the public with better user experience and more useful details for decision making. The updated version, featuring additional types of debt securities and advanced search functions including the outstanding value, is available for free download now for both IOS and Android devices.
SEC
Secretary-General Ruenvadee Suwanmongkol said: “Giving sufficient useful
information on debt securities to investors and the general public is one of
our continuing priorities. On 27 December 2020, we launched SEC Bond Check
Version 1 to provide investors with more convenient access to important
information before making investment decisions. This is part of SEC’s efforts to
serve investors in the bond market.”
SEC Bond Check Version
2 allows investors and the interested public to search for a wider range of
information and details using advanced functions. For example, users can search
for newly issued bonds and sort the results by the subscription date, the term
length, the interest rate, and the name of issuer. In addition to the basic search
function by the name of issuer, which also shows the outstanding balance of
each bond issue, SEC Bond Check Version 2 features an advanced search function
by interest rate range, time to maturity, credit rating and risk level, including
the top 10 issuer menu.
SEC
Bond Check App is downloadable now for IOS devices at AppStore and for Android devices
at PlayStore: https://is.gd/nDqpEE. The number of
current users to date is approximately 2,000.
