the IOSCO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC) Meeting. We also collaborated
with ASIFMA and Afore Consulting in preparing for the EU-Asia Financial
Services Dialogue, which will be held on 12 March 2021 after the IOSCO APRC
Meeting. Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, the Minister of Finance, will give the

This EU-Asia Financial Services Dialogue
is a great opportunity for representatives from several organizations to share
experience in dealing with challenges towards capital market development and updating
various progresses in both regions. Topics on discussion include “Regulatory
Alignment & Deference,” “The Use of Technology in Financial Services,”
“Recoveries from COVID-19 Pandemic” and “Sustainable
Finance,” which are the key elements for driving Thai capital market towards
the goal of sustainable growth, which are also in line with international priorities.
The Dialogue welcomes delegates from various
organizations – from regulatory agencies and policy makers to international
organizations such as the International Organization of Securities Commissions
(IOSCO),
European Commission (EC), and the European Securities and Markets Authority
(ESMA) – as well as participants from private sectors and business operators in
Europe and Asia.”
