The Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC Thailand), in partnership with CFA Institute and CFA Society Thailand, organized seminar titled “Analysts Workshop: The Impact of Sustainability Issues on Valuation and Performance” for investment analysts and “Navigating the Future of Investing in the Time of Sustainability: A Paradigm Shift in the Roles of Investment Consultants?” for investment consultants. The event aimed to enhance their understanding of the impact of ESG on corporate operations and the valuation of listed securities. These seminars also aimed to provide investment consultants with ESG knowledge, ensuring that professionals in the capital market are equipped to perform their roles effectively. This event took place on 4 November 2024 at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel, Bangkok. Furthermore, SEC Thailand Assistant Secretary-General, Mrs. Charuphan Intararoong​ also participated in this seminar and conveyed deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to Mr. Richard McGillivray, speaker from CFA Institute for sharing valuable knowledge on ESG through his practical experience at a workshop and mini case study sessions with about 200 Thai professionals from the securities industry including executives, investment analysts, and investment consultants.
