Wednesday 27 December 2023 | No. 261 / 2023

Bangkok, 27 December 2023 – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has added a database on “sustainability-themed bonds” to the “ESG Product Platform”, in an effort to continuously develop the platform for enhanced comprehensiveness and completeness, facilitating access of the public and interested parties.

In the second phase of the “ESG Product Platform” development, the SEC has introduced further information and details on “sustainability-themed bonds”; e.g., the list of top 10 issuers, detailed offering information of each class of bonds, types of offering, risk levels, fact sheets, and relevant reports etc., to enable convenient access of the public and interested parties. The information can be viewed at https://sustainablefinance.sec.or.th/Bond .

The SEC has developed and launched the “ESG Product Platform” in January this year to be used as a comprehensive and alternative information center for sustainability-themed financial products which is conveniently accessed by capital market participants and the public. Currently, the product information available on the platform includes SRI funds (sustainable and responsible investing fund) and sustainability-themed bonds, i.e., green bonds, social bonds, sustainability bonds and sustainability-linked bonds.
