Bangkok, February 27, 2014 ? The SEC is seeking public comment on draft capital market personnel rules aiming at compiling and standardizing the rules and guidelines concerning all types of capital market personnel for ease-of-use; for example, qualifications, approval process, and duties of the capital market personnel. The draft rules also include a wealth advisor as a new type of capital market personnel while some of the existing capital market personnel will be required to obtain the SEC approval with a view to enhancing supervisory efficiency.
