Bangkok, October 16, 2014 ? Vorapol Socatiyanurak, SEC Secretary-General revealed that the Capital Market Supervisory Board has approved to revise the regulations on services concerning investment in products denominated foreign currencies. The revised regulations will allow business operators to provide services in foreign currency denominated products as permitted under their licenses. In addition, units of ASEAN collective investment scheme (ASEAN CIS) will be added as permissible securities. The revision, to become effective by November 2014, aims at supporting competition among business operators and increase capital market product variety.
