Bangkok, March 31, 2015 ?The SEC opened ?SEC Capital Market Knowledge Center,? with interactive multimedia to provide a comprehensive source of financial and investment information along with overview of fund mobilization and capital market mechanism for business enterprise and the public.

Vorapol Socatiyanurak, SEC Secretary-General said that as a capital market regulator, the SEC has compiled comprehensive knowledge and information on the Thai capital market from the early stage of development to the present day. Through the interactive multimedia, the SEC Capital Market Knowledge Center will support the dissemination of knowledge to all capital market participants as well as the public. This is to enable better understanding about the capital market and greater use of capital market both as funding source and investment channel; thereby being beneficial to the economic and social development of the country.

Officially open in this April, the SEC welcomes everyone to visit the SEC Capital Market Knowledge Center, from Monday-Friday during 9.00-12.00 hrs. and 13.00-16.00 hrs. The Center features nine knowledge and edutainment stations equipped with touchscreens, computer games, self-assessment and suitability test as well as videos, to create joyful learning experiences. In the future, a variety of activities will be organized including contemporary exhibition on new development in the capital market.
