Bangkok, 19 September 2016 ? The SEC is seeking public comments on the proposed revision to the disclosure of information in the prospectus and fact sheet of retail mutual funds to present a clearer, more user-friendly format for informing investors of key features, investment policies and associated risks, while giving investment consultants a more convenient tool for giving advice and selling units to investors.

The proposed revision aims to improve the quality and readability of the disclosed information via fund prospectus and fact sheet, and to ensure that investors will have necessary and complete information before making an investment decision.

The revision includes (1) simplifying the language to be less technical in terms of legal and industry jargons, (2) enlarging the font for easier reading, and (3) promoting the use of an interactive channel, if appropriate, such as app-based information service to better suit investors? digital lifestyles.
