SEC urges the public to be cautious and refrain from THT transactions liable to violation of law as stated in BOT press release

Bangkok, 17 March 2021 – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) advises the public to be cautious and refrain from involvement in Thai Baht-denominated stablecoins (THT) transactions, as detailed in the Bank of Thailand Press Release No. 15/2564 issued today under the headline, “Thai Baht-denominated Stablecoins” because participation in THT-related activities may be considered a violation of law.
